EXPERIENCE:
Temporary Preparator: Henry Art Gallery, June 2007-present. Duties include installation, de-installation, packing, storing, signage, maintenance according to museum standards in a team-oriented environment.
On-Call Installer: Artech, November 2006-May 2007. Duties include installation, deinstallation, packing, and storing art on-site in various locations.
Visiting Instructor/Instructor of record: University of Washington, March 2005- September 2006. Duties included conducting a 22-student college level drawing class.
Scenic Artist: Pacific Studio, March - June 2004. Duties included installation and fabrication of scenery, painting and faux finishing, as well as illustration and other duties as needed in museum, shop, and studio environments.
Personal Assistant: Darren Waterston, April 2003-January 2004. Duties included fielding phone calls, corresponding with galleries, museums and art schools, coordinating travel and daily schedules, packing and shipping art, maintaining current inventory, and other duties as needed for a self- employed painter.
On-Call Preparator: Berkeley Art Museum, July 2000-October 2003. Duties included installation, de-installation, packing, storing, signage, maintenance according to museum standards in a team-oriented environment.
Maintenance/ Preparator: Vorpal Gallery, Feb.-June 1999. Duties included general maintenance, painting, lighting, installation and deinstallation, custodial, light carpentry, as well as some inventory and occasional receptionist duties on multi-line phone system.
